CDC Blue Winged Olive Cripple- Strike Fly Company
The CDC BWO Cripple is a deadly imitation of a mayfly struggling in the surface film. This fly is designed to sit low so it consistently fools selective fish. Fish it solo, behind a small dry, or as the lead fly in a dry-dropper setup during Blue WInged Olive hatches.
Best for: slow water where trout feed confidently on emerging olives, effective during cloudy, rainy, and low light conditions.
